I see it more like a James Bond thing… Actually you go and do something, and you get away with it with clean hands and it is just kind of different. It is not just the aggression, but also intensifying reality. You actually feel the adrenaline rushing into your body and you’re nervous and your heart beats are like kicking. And this is nice. It is the same like with bunging-jumping. This is just socially not accepted, this is why it is in a different book. But there are the same things playing there - Raw

It’s a bonding culture; you go through intensive experiences together. Most of my closest friends are graffiti wr iters, just because I’ve been hiding in the bushes with them, in the winter like for so many nights. Just coming together because it’s so cold and stuff. Running away or being in jail together you know? Those are all things you go through. Everybody goes through things and experiences together, bonding things - Raw

Just being in the centre of the city at 4-5 o’clock in the night in the middle of the week and there is nobody on the street. It’s kind of like your kingdom. And thi s is all very childish, but still there is a consistence in doing it and consis tent in a way when you are outside out in the night all alone and the city is yours… and you kind of put it in your hands […] It’s a romantic feeling. But it doesn’t mean that it is less real you know ? It’s good and that’s mostly what gets me out - Raw

It’s like I feel that the city is so dense, that public space is hard to find, so for you to do something in that way you would have to go to write on somebody’s side of a house – Raw
